Thanks to our customers, Balise was able to donate $3,573 to Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, an organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices.

This year Balise Subaru supported the East Greenwich Animal Protection League through its Subaru Loves Pets commitment by donating new pet owner kits, Chewbaru dog toys and donated $100 per dog that we got adopted! these contributions helped adopters feel prepared, brought comfort and joy to the shelter pets and supported a smooth adoption experience. Most importantly, they helped pets begin their new lives feeling safe and loved!

For the past 10 years, Subaru of America and its retailers have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients across the country. On June 18th, Balise Subaru personally delivered these items to Hasbro Children’s. These blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope provide warmth and comfort to patients in treatment. The love and support shared through this cherished partnership means a lot to everyone involved! This year, Balise Subaru also opted to support the LLS Urgent Need Program, which will provide blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc. Thank you for your commitment to supporting your community as well as the LLS mission to create a world without blood cancer and improve the quality of life for patients and their families!
Balise Subaru Teams Up to Support Local Community - Nate R
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in West Warwick, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Balise Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Balise Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/13/2025, Balise Subaru donated 204 coats to The Rhode Island Coalition to End Homelessness. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Balise Subaru’s team made an extraordinary impact by donating pet supplies to the East Greenwich Rescue League, significantly improving the lives of pets awaiting adoption. This thoughtful act of generosity provided much-needed resources such as food, bedding, toys, and hygiene items, ensuring the rescued animals received proper care and comfort while waiting for their forever homes. For many of these animals, often coming from challenging or neglectful situations, the donated supplies represented a lifeline. High-quality food and comfortable bedding allowed them to regain strength and health, while interactive toys and treats helped alleviate stress and foster a sense of joy in their temporary shelter environment. The team’s efforts also uplifted the morale of the shelter staff and volunteers, enabling them to allocate their limited resources more effectively. With essential supplies readily available, they could focus on other critical aspects of animal welfare, including medical care and adoption outreach.
