Through the Subaru Love Promise and our local partnerships, we work hard to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. From helping families in West Warwick to supporting children’s health programs, our commitment to giving back continues to grow.

The Subaru Love Promise Makes a Difference

The Subaru Love Promise focuses on five key areas: helping people in need, protecting the environment, caring for others, supporting education, and helping animals. Each year, Subaru and its retailers donate millions of dollars to charities nationwide. At Balise Subaru, we take this promise seriously by working with local organizations throughout Providence and nearby communities.

One of the most important programs is the annual Share the Love Event. During this event, Subaru donates at least $300 to charity for every new vehicle it sells or leases. Over the past 17 years, this program has raised nearly $320 million for national and local charities. Our team in East Greenwich is proud to be part of this amazing initiative that continues to grow each year.

Supporting Families Through Family Services of Rhode Island

One of our most important partnerships is with Family Services of Rhode Island. This organization helps families facing difficult situations by providing counseling, food assistance, and emergency support. Recently, our team donated winter coats to families who could not afford warm clothing. The smiles on children’s faces reminded us why this work matters so much in Coventry and the surrounding areas.

Our staff also volunteers at Family Services of Rhode Island events in Pawtucket. By working closely with this organization, we can support families in meaningful ways that go beyond financial donations.

Bringing Joy to Hasbro Children's Hospital

For more than 25 years, Balise has partnered with Hasbro Children’s Hospital. One of our favorite traditions is donating ride-on vehicles for children to use on the way to surgery. Instead of walking through hospital hallways, kids can drive miniature cars and trucks, turning a stressful moment into an adventure.

Recently, we delivered a new group of ride-on vehicles, including a GMC Sierra, Toyota Tacoma, Volkswagen Beetle, and Chevrolet Camaro. Hospital staff shared that families often record these moments, creating happy memories during difficult times. Our connection to Hasbro Children’s Hospital continues to inspire our efforts throughout Johnston and nearby communities.

Education and Environmental Programs

Supporting education is another key part of our mission. We partner with Robert F. Kennedy Elementary School to provide school supplies, musical instruments, and special seating for students. We believe every child deserves access to the tools they need to learn and succeed.

Environmental protection also plays a big role in our community work. We work with Save The Bay during cleanup events at Goddard Park and other locations. Volunteers from Sterling, CT, and neighboring towns help remove trash from shorelines to protect wildlife and keep our waterways clean.

Helping Pets and Building Community

During Subaru Loves Pets month each October, we support the East Greenwich Animal Protection League. Our focus is on helping shelter pets with special needs who often wait longer to be adopted. Our team, including volunteers from Plainfield, CT, participates in adoption events and helps spread awareness about these animals.
